I built this for the version of me who needed it five years ago.

I've been running service businesses for years — first as a bookkeeper through Tides Bookkeeping, then adding real estate referral work, then building systems for other operators on top of that. What I kept running into wasn't a lack of work. It was the same problem, over and over: the business was making money, but the back office was held together with duct tape.
Manual follow-ups. Onboarding that happened differently every time. Client data split across three tools and a spreadsheet. A team (or a VA, or just yourself) who couldn't operate independently because none of the processes were written down. You'd take a few days off and come back to discover nothing moved while you were gone.
I fixed my own version of that problem. Then I started fixing it for my bookkeeping clients. Then for a few operators I knew through the real estate world. And somewhere in there I realized this was the thing I was actually good at — not just doing the work, but building the infrastructure that lets the work run without me in the room.
The nomad angle isn't a brand.
I'm building toward a European relocation. That's not a lifestyle flex — it's the constraint that forced me to take systems seriously. When you're planning to run your business from a different time zone, on a different schedule, in a different country, you can't have a business that requires your constant physical presence to function. Every system I've built for a client, I've stress-tested against that standard: would this work if I were six time zones away?
That's what I mean when I say I've lived this. It's not a positioning statement. It's the actual reason I built what I built.
What's broken about how most operators run their back office.
Most service businesses run on founder memory. The owner knows how things work because they've always been the one doing them. There's no system — there's just experience, stored in one person's head. It works until it doesn't: until you try to hire, or take a vacation, or hand something off, or grow past a certain revenue level.
The fix isn't just buying a CRM or signing up for another tool. The fix is building the actual infrastructure — the pipelines, the automations, the SOPs, the dashboards — that takes the knowledge out of your head and puts it somewhere the business can run on.
That's what Nomad Systems Co. does. Not consulting from a deck. Not a template install. An actual build, scoped to your operation, delivered in a way that you understand and own completely.
